This blog follows Robert Hastings on his 6,000 mile Ride for Hunger (July 27-August 20, 2009). Between April of 2008 and 2009, the unemployment rate in Portland, Oregon, jumped higher than any other major metro area in the U.S. Robert is hitting the road to raise money for PACS, which runs the busiest emergency food site in the state.
