Well, Stage 2 of the Tour de Oshkosh finished in Fallon, NV today. Did you know that the Navy Fighter Weapons School is located in Fallon? Maybe you will recognize it under a more famous name, TOPGUN. If you ask me this is a strange place for the navy right in the middle of the desert.
It is hard to believe that it was cooler in Nevada today than Portland, OR. According to the Weather Channel it was 106 degrees back home and it is expected to be hotter tomorrow. And I thought I was riding into the heat not away from it.
